The deadline to request transportation is April 1st of the preceding school year. 

Section 3635 of the Education Law requires:  

• all school districts located within a 1.5 mile radius of a private school (ISOE) to provide transportation to and from the school, free of charge.
• K-12 students living MORE than 1.5 miles from their school are eligible for transportation.
• In order to obtain transportation, parents must file Non-Public Transportation Request Form with the school district in which they live by April 1 of the preceding school year or within 30 days of moving to the district.

Currently enrolled ISOE families receive transportation request forms for the following year in their annual reenrollment packet.

Important: 

Transportation for SCSD (Syracuse City School District) is handled by ISOE administration. Please contact the school administrators in regards to any questions.
